Part I

 INTRODUCTION:

A FAIRY TALE WORLD

It does sometimes happen

that in an ordinary human life

      such fantastic events occur

that

if you could not check up on them

you could think you were being told

a  fairytale.

 * von Franz was an Austrian-Swiss Jungian psychoanalyst

      trained by Carl Jung;

friend and very close associate of Jung’s

             until he died in 1961;

          great savant eventually

                            in the highly specialized field

         of interpreting

                                      (from the perspective, mostly,

                                                     of Jungian analytical psychology)

not only

                        traditional fairy tales

             themselves

                  (worldwide)

but also

                            the sad fairy-tale-like

               dreams

and

                        the fairy-tale-like

                             real-life  stories

                                                            of persons undergoing Jungian psychoanalysis,

and most famously of all,

the tales, dreams and real-life stories of mj lorenzo

while he studied at the Jung Institute

in Zürich, Switzerland, in 1969[2]

in 1945 we the USA government and people defeated the Japanese and ended World War II

and to accomplish this almost superhuman feat it took

LESS THAN 4 YEARS

from the day they attacked us at Pearl Harbor in late 1941

and now as of 2019

we are again under attack from a disorganized army of crazy fanatical

mass shooters and killers-by-any-means, i.e.,

DIABOLICALLY  DEMENTED  MASS  SLAUGHTERERS  OF  INNOCENTS

(a chaotic army of cravens that especially loves to turn our innocent children to dead blood and carrion meat while they are sweetly learning ABCs at school)

a disorganized war on America that started in Texas in 1966 and has lasted (as of 2019)

53 YEARS

and shows no sign of being won by the currently impotent U.S.A. people or their perpetually impotent leadership

and what accounts for this difference between 4 years (in the 1940s) and 53+ (now)?

ENDLESS BLARNEYPROSER PALAVER

like this:

“But,” they say, “a single country like Japan was an easier target.”

STOP THE PALAVER AND FIX IT

LIKE PRESIDENT AND CONGRESS DID IN 1941

“But,” they say, “traditional warfare is easier to wage than crazy warfare.”

STOP ARGUING AND ATTACK THE PROBLEM ALL OUT

LIKE FDR AND CONGRESS DID IN 1941

as soon as he and congress saw the problem they IMMEDIATELY went to work

ALL OUT

to solve the problem

TOGETHER

“But,” the blarneyprosers raise their voices, “things were simpler in 1941! Today we are a people confused!”

“Politicians won’t work together! They refuse to compromise!”

QUIT THE HOPELESSNESS AND HELPLESSNESS AND FIX IT

things were not simple in 1941 either

we were in an economic depression     no money

and little army      and our navy was mostly destroyed at Pearl Harbor

there was political strife over going to war

many people thought FDR had purposely handed the USA over to the Japanese

because FDR for years had been pro-war while Congress remained anti-

yet these things did not stop the whole country from

IMMEDIATELY GOING AT IT ALL OUT

so

stop the mealy-mouthed equivocating and

DO IT!!

NOW!!!!!!!!!

with nothing short of
UTTER DETERMINATION

of the kind shown by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and all of Congress in 1941

despite their many political and ideological differences

THE  LONGER  WE  ARGUE  SIDES,  THE  STRONGER  THE  ENEMY  GETS

and though they be crazy they can be studied as the Japanese and Germans were

and patterns can be found and anticipated

and UNDONE

Lord, send us a REAL LEADER like FDR – or MOSES – please, capable of uniting and leading us through a mammoth crisis to victory,

and  REAL  congress-people and senators who can work with and help that strong leader,

EVERYBODY ON ONE SIDE, ENDING THIS CRAZY THIRD WORLD WAR

and restoring peace and sanity

we ask in all humility and reverence

AND...

BUT ONLY IF IT BE THY WILL

(‘cause maybe you’re finished with America)

(and we can see why)

(but we’re hoping you’ll forgive our fool idiocies)

(and lead us to do better)

AMEN.[4]

[2]  “Once upon a time in a faraway land, where princes once vied and heroes died, where questers set out and there were trolls and the stories seemed to come straight from the stone, a child of the aristocracy was born.

“Her father was an Austrian baron. And if there were no sounds of trumpets when she was born in Munich on Jan. 14, 1915, when Marie-Louise von Franz died at 83 on Feb. 17 in her home in Küsnacht, Switzerland, there were those who hailed her as the queen of Jungian psychology. She was an expert on fairy tales who had been both Carl Gustav Jung’s most brilliant and inspired disciple and the one who had done the most to illuminate the flame since his death in 1961....

“In Jungian theory, those primordial stories [fairy tales] provide compelling evidence of his central notion that all humanity shares a collective unconscious of genetically replicated archetypal forms reflecting and embodying the entire spectrum of human aspirations, feelings, fears and frustrations.

“For those who doubted, Dr. von Franz conducted a worldwide study of fairy tales and turned out a stream of rigorously researched and influential books on this subject...

“As Jung had sensed, along the way she found too many common themes and symbols in too many isolated cultures for the similarities to be dismissed as mere coincidence....”
